CRS series small wet drum magnetic separator is used for dressing the strong magnetic minerals (such as magnetite, hematite, titanium magnetite and pyrrhotite).

Lab magnetic separator is mainly designed for labs for metallic mineral processing, mining engineering experiments, experimental plant, It conducts concurrent magnetic separation of fine-grain ores with strong magnetism by use of Wet Method. It is small in volume, light in weight, simple in operation and convenient in maintenance.

Application

It is mainly used to separate magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasting ore, ilmenite, and other materials, coal, non-metalliferous ore and building materials such as iron-removal operation of materials. The magnetic separator is working together with elevated slurry mixing bucket. And the magnetic density can be adjusted to be 1250Gauss.

Working Principle

The drum of magnetic separator with open magnetic system is installed inside, when ore slurry is fed  from the feeding box, the magnetic separator quickly sorts out magnetic ores, then magnetic ores are absorbed on the surface of magnetic drum under magnetic force, by magnetic stirring, to get rid of the sludge, finally magnetic material rotates with drum, and unload by water flushing, then discharge from magnetic concentrate outlet.
