Copper Ore Processing Flow Chart
Introduction
The main beneficiation method of copper ores is flotation, in some cases the gravity separation and magnetic separation are applied. Generally, copper sulfide ore, mixed copper ore and copper oxide ore are processed by flotation method. For the refractory mixed copper ore and refractory copper oxide ore, hydrometallurgy or combined hydrometallurgy and flotation are adopted.
Application
Copper ore processing can be applied to all kinds of copper sulide ores, as well as most mixed copper ores and copper oxide ores.
It has significant separation effect for chalcopyrite, copper molybdenum ores and porphyry copper ores.
Remark: belowed processing line is just for your reference, we will design the flowchart based on your ore condition.
Processing
STEP 1: Crushing
1.Jaw Crusher for preliminary crushing: Jaw Crusher is mainly applied for primary, medium, and fine crushing various kinds of ores, the max compression strength of the materials crushed could be 2000kg/cm². And it will reach to output/discharging size <25mm.
2. Hammer crusher for second crushing: after jaw crusher primary crushing, the <25mm size copper ore stone will come into the hammer crusher for second crushing(the >25mm size copper will return to jaw crusher again) And it will reach to output/discharging size <10mm.
STEP 2: Grinding and Classifiying
Ball mill for grinding into powder: After hammer crusher, copper ore stone will come into ball mill for grinding.
1. The fine copper mineral will come into next step mixer for mixing(The mixing tank can make the copper ore more pure in the effect of chemical reagent)
2. The bigger copper mineral will return to the ball mill again by the rotating of spiral classifier. ,
STEP 3: Flotating
1. after mixing, the copper ore will come into the flotation machine, which is the ending machine in this flotation line.)
2. After this flotation machine, if you want the dry copper ore, you also can use the dryer after flotation machine.
